Reality Drought

Passionate words cheapened to pixels

And so many of them, our minds have turned fickle.

Branches and wires tangle and stick

We can’t distinguish false from organic

Communication commodified

Minds are being monetised

Attention is the currency

In this drought of reality

We don’t know what we’re voting for

Or which countries are at war

We want more and more and more

But we are so time and truth poor.
